Led by Melita Tafa, certified yoga teacher, and Valentina Chieregato, nutritionist and mindful eating coach, this retreat is designed to nourish your body and mind through daily yoga, mindful eating practices, and the healing power of nature.

On the peaceful shores of Rottnest Island, just 30 minutes from Fremantle, nestled in the natural beauty of the island and hosted at the elegant Samphire Resort, a sanctuary where time slows down.

WHEN?

From 20 to 22 June 2025, join us for a 3 day immersive experience designed to help you slow down. recharge, and reconnect. Want to extend the bliss? You can choose to stay an extra night until 23 June, with access to an optional Ayurveda workshop, a beautiful opportunity to explore holistic wellness and ancient self-care rituals.

  • Yes! All sessions are designed to welcome both beginners and experienced practitioners. The practices are slow, mindful, and deeply nourishing. Modifications will always be offered.

  • Yes, of course! Please inform us in advance about any allergies or dietary restrictions. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure your meals are safe and nourishing.

  • We’ll send you a full packing list before the retreat. In general, bring comfortable clothing, a journal, warm layers for evenings, and swimwear if the retreat includes access to water.

  • It depends on the accommodation option you choose. Shared and private rooms may be available – full details are provided at booking.

  • That’s totally okay. While we encourage full participation, we also value personal space. You’re always free to skip a session or take quiet time for yourself when needed.

  • Absolutely. Many people join solo. It’s a beautiful way to connect with yourself and meet like-minded souls in a supportive space.

  • A deposit is required to secure your spot. In case of cancellation, partial refunds may be available depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made. Please make sure to read our full Terms & Conditions for all the details regarding cancellations, refunds, and transfer policies.

I’m Valentina, a certified Nutritionist with a background in architecture and a deep passion for holistic health. After years of living a fast-paced life, I embraced a slower, more intentional approach, one that honours the connection between body, mind, and food. I specialize in mindful eating and sustainable nutrition, helping others cultivate a more conscious relationship with food and themselves.

About Melita

I’m Melita — a certified teacher of Tantra Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and meditation. My work is rooted in tradition and guided by intuition. I create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move with more awareness and purpose.

I believe in the power of breath, simplicity, and presence.

TERMS & CONDITIONS?

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible.

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat start date: We are unable to offer refunds; however, we’ll happily provide a credit equal to the full amount paid, which can be used toward a future Mindful Living Yoga Retreat (valid for up to 12 months from the original retreat date).

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date: Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a credit or refund, as accommodation and services are confirmed and committed at this stage. We appreciate your understanding.

We reserve the right to cancel any retreat up to 60 days in advance. Should this happen, we will offer a full refund of all payments made.

In rare circumstances, we may be forced to cancel a retreat at any time due to events beyond our control (Force Majeure), such as natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, or transportation issues.

Please note that ferry services to and from Rottnest Island are occasionally cancelled due to weather conditions, which is beyond our control. If a Force Majeure event occurs, we will do our best to work with all guests toward a fair solution.

Travel Insurance Policy

For your peace of mind and protection, travel insurance is mandatory for all participants of the Mindful Living Yoga Retreat.

Each guest is responsible for obtaining their own insurance prior to the start of the retreat. Your policy should include (but is not limited to):

  • Trip cancellation or interruption

  • Medical expenses and emergencies

  • Baggage and personal item loss or damage

  • Travel delays due to transport disruptions

Please ensure you carefully review what your travel insurance covers.

Mindful Living Yoga Retreat is not liable for any personal loss, injury, damage, or delays experienced during travel or your stay. A copy of your valid travel insurance certificate must be provided to us before the retreat begins.
